Aesthetic Nurse Specialist, Nurse Practitioner

Arleen attended Ursuline College on scholarship and graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 1998. Then, she worked at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore for several years in the otolaryngology and neuroscience departments, where she achieved subspecialty certification as a neuroscience  critical care nurse. She went on to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2004, again graduating with honors.

Arleen is a member of many professional organizations, including Sigma Theta Tau, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery and the American Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses.

Arleen worked at an Aesthetic and Vein Center as a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner until 2011. She was responsible for the aesthetic side of the medical spa, including training and supervising staff and establishing standards of care for the practice.

Arleen has advanced training in the injection of neuromodulators, dermal fillers, sclerotherapy, and the application of lasers and other light-based technology for skin rejuvenation and skincare. Her expertise is in the art and science of facial aesthetics. With Arleen’s confident yet warm and gentle approach, patients receive the best care coupled with superior outcomes in non-surgical aesthetics.
